Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift | Columbus, OH

$65–$75/hr | 13-Week Assignment | 3x12s Nights

We are actively hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a night shift position at a specialty hospital in Columbus, Ohio . This is a 13-week contract assignment with the potential for extension or permanent placement .

Position Highlights:

• Schedule: Night shift
• Hours: 3 days per week | 12-hour shifts
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay: $65–$75 per hour
• Start: ASAP
• Patient Ratio: Acuity-based (typically 4:1)
• Manager: Highly responsive and supportive leadership

Required Experience:

• Active RN license
• Experience in Step-Down or Critical Care
• Ventilator & Trach experience REQUIRED
• Experience with critical drips is a strong plus
• Ability to work in a high-acuity environment

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences
• Initiate discharge planning upon admission
• Communicate patient status changes to physicians and nursing leadership
• Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary nursing staff appropriately
• Promote patient and employee safety at all times
• Maintain a calm, professional presence with patients, families, and staff
• Assume charge nurse responsibilities after orientation as needed
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training
